There is no God greater than Truth:

There is no need to muster courage in order to speak truth.  Truth itself is a massive power and nothing can confront it.  We are witnessing a number of news items in daily newspapers, how the corrupt people have been caught.  Corrupt people may be happy only till then their corruption come to light, afterwards, it is only unending darkness that circumference them.  As you sow, so shall you reap is the universal law, neither any one can ever avert the result of evil deed, nor will.  Karma ripe for reaping.  The bowman has already sent an arrow and it has left his hand and cannot be taken back.

Truth itself is a massive power:

An ordinary lawyer named Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi turned to be Mahatma only after seeing a play of Harishchandra.  It is not Harishchandr’s character that has inspired Gandhi, it is the truth that found a disciple in the name of Gandhi.  After finding the real purpose of his life, Gandhi left no stone unturned and it lifted him to attain the status of Mahatma.  Harishchandra also gone thru a number of struggle in his life but he was committed not to lie.   Similarly Gandhi also had to face a number of struggle but at last he achieved what he wanted to achieve.

Satyameva Jayate:

This, Satyameva Jayate is a Sanskrit phrase meaning “Truth alone Triumphs”.  It is a mantra from Mundaka Upanishad.  Independent India took this phrase as a national motto to adapt and since then it has been inscribed in at the base of the national emblem and in Indian currency.  Mahatma Buddha also considered ‘truth’ as a massive power.  This is why Mahatma Buddha revealed – Three things cannot be long hidden, the Sun, the moon and the Truth.

Adaptation of truth in Religion:

Sat Sri Akaal is exclusively used by the Sikhs to great other which means “Truth is the ultimate God” or “God is the ultimate truth.  The 10th Guru of Silk religion gave them a jaikara “Jo Bole so Nihal – Sat Sri Akaal”.  The saying denotes that the one who spell “Jo Bole So Nihal – Sat Sri Akaal” will be blessed eternally.  Similarly the virtue of telling the truth was adapted in Islamic religion too.
